INSTALAÇÃO LUMINOSA
Lumina
At the LUMINA Festival of Light, dreams and stories take shape between the artworks and the audience. This typographic installation, composed of giant letters spelling the festival’s name, becomes a luminous and participatory symbol, marking an unforgettable meeting point.
Created by the LUMINA team to celebrate the festival’s return, this piece pays homage to the history of the town of Cascais and its connection to the sea.
The structure uses fishing nets that have been used, filled with memories and stories of local fishermen, intertwined with the symbolic light of visitors from all editions of the festival.
Here, the nets capture the light and imagination of the public, transforming this gesture into a living artwork shared by all.
A work that unites past and present, where yesterday’s stories intersect with today’s dreams, and where every visitor can make the mark of Portugal’s brightest festival their own. Because LUMINA belongs to everyone and is for everyone.
